The City of Wheat Ridge is pleased to announce a ribbon cutting celebration at Fran’s Café in Wheat Ridge.

Join Mayor Jerry DiTullio, members of the Wheat Ridge City Council and the staff of Fran’s Cafe for their grand opening celebration on Thursday, March 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at their restaurant located at 7057 West 38th Avenue.  The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at approximately 5:15 p.m.

“The more dining establishments we have in our City, the better the choices for our citizens and those who visit Wheat Ridge,” said Wheat Ridge Mayor Jerry DiTullio.  “We welcome Fran’s Café to our family.”

Fran’s Cafe is a locally owned and operated restaurant serving Southern/Mid-West style home cooking.  Fran’s features a tenderloin sandwich that is pounded and breaded in house and served on a large fresh bun.  Fran’s also feature house made noodles, breads and daily lunch specials.

Fran’s opened in 2010, but the real history is from Fran herself. Almost all of the cooking in this country/50's style diner is from Fran's recipe box.  Owners Brandy and Jan will be there to greet all the customers.  Home cooking is very important to this mother/daughter duo.
