Firefighters battle blaze on 52nd Avenue | News

Arvada fire fighters responded yesterday morning at 7:33 on the report of a building fire at 12085 W. 52nd Avenue in Wheat Ridge. When fire crews arrived on scene, they found a fully involved building that was behind 9 greenhouses.
The reporting parties onscene confirmed that no one was inside the building. It took fire fighters approximately 10 minutes to control the fire. There were no fire fighter or civilian injuries.
Fire investigators determined that the cause of the fire was cooking.
The caretaker of the greenhouses, his wife and 4 children have been displaced by the fire and will be staying in a rental home that they own.
