This is spring break for some, so we thought we’d go over some of the finer points of this week’s forecast. Bottom line: It’s all fine weather for you unless you’re in farming. The unusually warm weather means unusually low humidity, and that could spell big time fire danger for parts of the front range, especially on Wednesday when we see temperatures in the mid 70s.
For spring skiers and snowboarders we see spring skiing conditions with most areas expecting daytime high temperatures in the lower to mid 50s. Snow pack has been well above average, so you shouldn’t be worrying about rocks scuffing your ride! Water levels in the mountain reservoirs will start to rise as snow continues to melt.
Look for mild weather on Thursday too, (that’s St. Patrick’s Day). If you’re lucky to not be workin’ Friday, you’ll have a great day and evening with temperatures in the 60s.
Have a great and safe week.
